B- Work is Winning

B- Work Is Winning

Here’s your permission slip: B- work is not only enough, it’s working.

In fact, the unpolished, the under-produced, the “ugly grid” is winning right now.

Gwyneth Paltrow is filming car videos talking about what she bought at Target.
Why?
Because it works.
She’s relatable.
And we’re nosy. 😂

People go to Instagram to be entertained, not sold to or lectured.
They want that video they can drop into the group chat and say,
“See?! We’re not crazy.”
“Look, she’s just like us.”

And here’s what I know:
That kind of content isn’t created by acting, dancing, or writing a skit.
It’s created by showing up real.
By talking about what you do in a way that feels human and relatable.

I also know it’s hard for women over 40 to do things they’re not already great at.
It’s hard to make something that feels “unprofessional.”
It’s hard to show up when we’ve been taught to perfect, polish, and overthink.

So let me say this loud and clear:

You can talk about your business in your car.
You can fumble your way through a Reel.
You can post B- work today and someone will see themselves in it.

That’s what I’m helping women practice inside my membership.
How to start where you are.
How to let it be simple.
How to be relatable without being performative.

If you’ve been waiting until it’s perfect…
Don’t.

Post the thing.
Say the thing.
Make it exist.

You don’t need to act. You just need to be.

College Drop-offs :: New Beginnings for Kids & Moms Alike

She squeezed me tight and, through tears, said, “I can’t believe you’re leaving me.” I started to laugh, “Technically, you left me. And that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be.” Dropping my second kid off at college last week was hard and good. If I can share the most...
