You Are Entering Your Money Making ErašŸ”®

My business is 3 years old this month. I started it while on vacation for my anniversary. My husband and I were having brunch in Stanley, ID when I purchased the Google domain and I decided to go for it. Now that I am 3 years into raising this business baby, I am realizing what got me here is NOT going to be what gets me to the next level.

I may not identify as a feminist.🤷 I am more Proverbs 31 woman, but I have to tell you, I am slightly fired up over this so lean in friends. I have some serious mindset shifts to make that center around money. I mean, this is not actually news to me. But it turns out I need to constantly be shifting, it is not a one and done type of thing, dang it.

I have been listening to some voices and opinions that a few years ago I would never have been drawn to but, here I am. One of the things I have really noticed is the type of money advice that is doled out to women. The kind that I have listened to for-evah! Somehow it is not jiving anymore.

I have spent my entire life budgeting. Saving money. Watching what I spend. Looking for the best price and taking time to think over every single purchase. Gah. Last year I invested in my business. I mean it was a number when I did my taxes and saw it all listed out in front of me, it made me pause. BUT, I know that there is a shift happening. My energy is moving to, ā€œthere is so much more to make,ā€ instead of, ā€œHow can I cut costs and shrink?ā€

I no longer believe the lie that Starbucks drinks ā˜• and frivolous shoppingšŸ›are keeping me from my dreams coming true.

Ladies, let’s move into the 50 year old making millions Era. It is all there for you. I believe you have what it takes and I am walking alongside you on this one. INVEST IN YOURSELF. You have divine guidance. You know you do.

On that note I just hired my first business coach and in my first meeting with her I told her, I don’t want to hear how to save money. Show me how to MAKE MORE. I know my business has blind spots. I know I am new to business, I know I have more to learn. Coach me.

She looked me dead in the eyes and said, ā€œLet’s do it.ā€

Let’s call this the money making Era. You are totally invited and encouraged to participate. Let’s walk into the next 30 years of our lives changing the legacy for our families. Are you in?!

XO,Amy😘

She squeezed me tight and, through tears, said, ā€œI can’t believe you’re leaving me.ā€ I started to laugh, ā€œTechnically, you left me. And that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be.ā€ Dropping my second kid off at college last week was hard and good. If I can share the most...
